In their initial lock-up, Christie proves to have just the slightest edge in raw strength, so Fire evens things up with some technical grappling, punishing her opponent's arm. But it isn't long before Ricci reverses things, and now the Tennessee Titan sneers, "How's that feel, huh?" as she drives Fire to her knees.

Fire tries to wring a submission out of Christie with a Boston Crab; Ricci is able to grab the ropes, but her adversary happily reminds her "There's no ref!" and ratchets up the pressure on her hold! Only Christie's phenomenal endurance allowed her to withstand the pain, and her astonishing strength ultimately lets her escape the crippling hold.

And that's the pace of this match for the longest time, as control slips back and forth between the blondes. Frustration eventually brings about a growing disregard for the rules, with hairpulling, closed fist punches, boots to the throat, eye rakes, and even biting added to the battle!

But it's hard-earned skill that finally wins this match, as one beauty executes a brilliant Byers Bridge to pin the other to the mat, the victrix triumphantly calling out "1... 2... 3!"
